Coalition of Nearly 200 Organizations Highlights the Power of Collaboration to Ensure a Thriving Delaware River Watershed

Randolph, NJ (October 28. 2025) — The Coalition for the Delaware River Watershed (CDRW) convened over 100 conservation leaders, advocates, and partners from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, New York, and Maryland for its 13th Annual Delaware River Watershed Forum in Randolph, NJ on October 23–24. Together, they explored strategies to protect and strengthen the Delaware River Watershed, a lifeline that provides clean drinking water to 14.2 million people (about 4% of the U.S. population), including more than 3 million in New Jersey.

The Delaware River Watershed Forum continues to serve as a cornerstone gathering for professionals, advocates, and community leaders committed to protecting and restoring the Delaware River Watershed. Bethlehem, PA — The Coalition for the Delaware River Watershed (CDRW) held its 12th Annual Delaware River Watershed Forum in Bethlehem, PA on Thursday, September 26th  and Friday, September 27th. Over 200 people attended, bringing together organizations and individuals spanning the four Delaware River Watershed states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and New York, to collaborate and build capacity for environmental conservation. The Delaware River Watershed provides drinking water to 14.2 million people (about 4% of the U.S. population), including 5.7 million Pennsylvanians.

Wilmington, DE — The Coalition for the Delaware River Watershed (CDRW), supported by the National Wildlife Federation, held its 11th Annual Delaware River Watershed Forum in Wilmington, DE, on Thursday, September 28th and Friday, September 29th. More than 300 watershed advocates attended the event, bringing together organizations and individuals spanning the four Delaware River Watershed states of Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania to collaborate and build capacity for environmental conservation throughout our region.

10TH ANNUAL DELAWARE RIVER WATERSHED FORUM: A Reflection on Yesterday, a Vision for tomorrow

The Coalition for the Delaware River Watershed, staffed by New Jersey Audubon and executed in partnership with National Wildlife Federation, held its 10th Annual Delaware River Watershed Forum from November 3rd-4th, 2022 at the Logan Hotel in Philadelphia. The two-day event marked the first year the Coalition has gathered in person since 2019, drawing over 275 attendees from throughout the Delaware River Basin and beyond.
