Defending Water and Land Protections for the Delaware River Basin
Strong clean water and healthy land protections are essential to safeguarding the rivers, streams, and wetlands that communities throughout the Delaware River Basin depend on for drinking water, jobs, recreation, and quality of life. Efforts to weaken water and land use protections, through regulatory rollbacks, reduced enforcement, or limited oversight, put these critical waters at risk, especially as many communities already face pollution, flooding, and aging infrastructure. The Coalition works to defend and strengthen policies that protect water quality, oppose rollbacks that threaten drinking water sources, and ensure all waters in the Delaware River Basin remain protected for current and future generations.
