PFAS Water Quality and Fish Tissue Assessment Study – Year 3

  • Delaware River Basin Commission (map)

The Delaware River Basin Commission (DRBC) is excited to announce that it has published a new report, PFAS Water Quality and Fish Tissue Assessment Study – Year 3, and an accompanying interactive tool to support awareness of PFAS in the Delaware River Basin (DRB).

The DRBC report overviews a three-year study examining average PFAS concentrations in surface water, sediment, fish, and shellfish. The findings conclusively demonstrate that PFAS contamination is widespread, persistent, and increasing downstream in the basin, particularly in tidal waters.

Join DRBC staff on Monday, June 15th from 12 PM – 1 PM to learn about notable trends and takeaways from DRBC's field investigation and participate in a demonstration of the new interactive application that visualizes PFAS levels across the basin.

The webinar is free, but registration is required. To register, visit: TinyURL.com/PFAS-UpdatePlease reach out if you have any questions.
