Virtual Roundtable - The Successes and Challenges of the Middle and Upper Delaware River   

National Parks Conservation Association and the National Park Service Staff at Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area and Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River are excited to invite you to a virtual round table forum on November 12, 2020 from 2:30 - 3:30 pm. We will hear about the efforts that led to the Delaware River being named 2020 River of the Year by American Rivers, and about challenges the River corridor still faces from invasive species.

  • Success Stories- How the Delaware River has been brought back from the brink - Rich Evans, Ecologist, Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area

  • Current Threats to the Delaware River, Invasive Species – Don Hamilton, Natural Resources Chief and Jennifer Newbern, Biologist, Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River

  • Update on happenings at Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area – Kathleen Sandt, Public Affairs Specialist
