Lower Delaware Wild & Scenic Management Council Meeting, Kingwood Township, NJ

Attend the September meeting of the Lower Delaware Wild and Scenic River Management Council at the Kingwood Township, NJ municipal building and hear about Water Monitoring from the Lehigh River Stocking Association and Conservation Finance from the PA Trust for Public Land.

Lower Delaware Wild and Scenic 2019 mini grantee Steve Chuckra, President of the Lehigh River Stocking Association, will discuss water probe monitoring activities on the Lehigh River.  

In addition, Owen Franklin, Pennsylvania State Director for The Trust for Public Land, will discuss conservation finance. His presentation will include trends in public funding, key steps to follow in exploring the viability of a new funding mechanism, and approaches that have proven effective in the past will be highlighted. Grants, taxes and bonding will also be covered.

The 6:30 PM meeting on Sept. 26th is open to government and nonprofit representatives.
