The Brandywine Creek Water Trail Project Public Meeting, Chadds Ford, PA

water-trail-kayak-event.jpg

Please join The Brandywine Conservancy and the Chester County Planning Commission in a public meeting in which they are looking for your input on their water trails project!

A water trail is a route along a waterway for recreational use, enhanced by connections to land trails. This is apart of The Brandywine Conservancy’s “greenway” project, which looks to get a corridor of private and public open space for recreational and conservation purposes along the Brandywine Creek. For more information about the greenway project, please click here!

There will be two meeting at different times and locations, but both will have the same purpose. The meeting will be focusing on the water trails, and will ask for the public’s input about:

  • routes you currently use and love

  • areas that are unsafe and need to be improved

  • areas where additional access would be helpful

  • opportunities for stewardship and education

The Brandywine Creek is a tributary of the Delaware River.
