Delaware Estuary Teachers Workshop, Bridgeton, NJ

Register now to take a trip into the field to learn about stream health and aquatic life! This is an educational opportunity for teachers and a certificate for 5 professional development hours will be provided upon completion.

Topics will include the health and threats to local waterways. We'll focus on the problem of stormwater, how it impacts our waterways, and how local groups are using "green infrastructure" (like rain gardens and rain barrels) to address the issue. Field trips will include a visit to a local stream to look at water quality and a guided tour of green infrastructure projects in and around Bridgeton, showcasing how communities and schools can get involved in protecting their water!

Lunch will be provided. For more information and to register, please visit SJTeacher.eventbrite.com
