The Schuylkill River Heritage Area is teaming up with Green Valleys Watershed Association to offer a one-time water quality paddle from Pottstown to Linfield. Participants will meet up at Pottstown’s Riverfront Park. There, following a brief discussion on water quality issues, invasive species and river health, they will launch and begin paddling toward Linfield. Midway they will stop for water quality testing using the Green Valleys Bluetooth-enabled sensors and talk about the findings. Then they will continue onto Linfield Park and take a shuttle back to Pottstown. Cost is $25 per person; $35 if you need to rent a boat. Must be 16 and up to participate; under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Space limited to 12 participants.
