Delaware Bay Resilience Assessment Webinar & Workshop Deadline

The Delaware Bay region within Delaware and New Jersey has been chosen as part of a national project to identify priority fish and wildlife habitat data which will be utilized in a National Fish and Wildlife Foundation analysis identifying opportunity areas that can increase both the resilience of human communities and fish/wildlife habitat from the effects of coastal and inland storms.

There is a workshop planned on November 15 from 12:30 - 4 p.m. in Port Norris, NJ and another on November 16 from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. in Dover, DE. The workshops are an opportunity for experts and watershed stakeholders to contribute data on fish and wildlife habitat, threats, and potential resilience projects that might help address some of the threats to these coastal areas. The deadline to apply for these workshops is November 9th by signing up here.

There is also a 1 hour webinar prior to the workshops to provide an overview of the project.  Although not mandatory for workshop attendance, this webinar will provide background for conversations at the workshop. The pre-workshop webinar will occur on Thursday November 9, 10:30am-11:30am and you can register here.
