Bicycle ride along the Delaware River approximately 30 miles, moderate 10 - 12 mph pace. Meet at the boat ramp parking lot behind Jimmy's Doggie Stand, which is located at 7 Union Square in Phillipsburg, NJ, next to the Northampton St. free bridge. The route to Milford from Phillipsburg will be on paved roads on the New Jersey side. We will cross the bridge from Milford to Upper Black Eddy, PA for an optional lunch at the Homestead Coffee Roasters and return using the D&L Trail (dirt tow path) on the Pennsylvania side of the river. Hybrid bikes are best. Bring plenty of water and an extra bicycle tube. Bicycles must be in safe operating condition. A suitable helmet is required. Heavy rain cancels, as to be posted by 8:30 AM.
