Join us for a unique exploration of the Pine Barren’s diverse ecosystems. Guided byPinelands Adventures Naturalist, John Volpa, we’ll hike and paddle along the edges of the Mullica River and discover its many secrets. This 3-hour exploration will include a shore walk to learn about uplands and Atlantic Cedar Swamp habitats, conducting a water quality survey (including dip and seine netting), and a 90-minute canoe trip on Goshen Pond. After the tour, we’ll head to Zinc Café for some gourmet American food!

Leave WVWA headquarters at 11:00AM to arrive in Shamong, NJ in time for the 1PM tour, which will finish at approximately 4:00PM. We’ll stop for dinner, and plan to arrive back to headquarters by 7:00PM.
