Join the Sierra Club of Delaware and partners for The Flow of Clean Water, an informational forum discussion about clean water in Delaware. The focus of the forum is on gaining a better understanding of several topics such as how legislation, HB200 for example, progresses through the state government, current and potential funding options for clean water, and the overall impact of clean water on the health and welfare of citizens and businesses in and around our extensive local waterways.

The forum is scheduled for Saturday, November 16th from 1:00-3:00 pm at the Lewes Library. After a brief introduction about water issues in Delaware, a moderated discussion will begin; questions will flow around:

a) the financial aspects of clean water in general and the current legislation - HB200,
b) the impact of clean water on the bays and businesses, and
c) public health and environmental justice

The event will begin with a moderator-led question and answer with questions presented by our partner organizations about the topic. Then there will be a chance for the audience to ask questions directly to the panelist. The Flow of Clean Water forum will conclude with a brief closing and will adjourn to the Crooked Hammock for discussion and refreshments afterward.
