Come March 21, the Delaware River Shad Fishermen’s Association is looking to put a new spin on their monthly meetings in an effort to lure new members to the group, as well as educate the public on American shad angling and conservation, as they hosts a new seminar night.

The evening, which takes place at Se-Wy-Co Fire Company at 7 p.m., will feature mini-seminars by five dedicated angling veterans, all of whom have put in hundreds of hours on the water in pursuit of the hard-fighting American shad, an anadromous fish that swims up the Delaware River each spring to spawn.
