Save the Land and Water Conservation Fund Webinar

The Appalachian Mountain Club is hosting a webinar that's open to public on how to defend the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF), which is one of America's most important conservation and recreation programs. LWCF has saved outdoor spaces in nearly every state and every county in the U.S., but it will expire on September 30, 2018 without action from Congress.

Outdoor enthusiasts and conservation volunteers are at the front lines of the enjoyment and understanding of the outdoors, making them the most credible voices in advocating for open space programs like the federal LWCF. In this hour-long webinar, attendees will learn how to advocate effectively for the LWCF by leading outdoor activities, sharing stories and photos on social media, and working with elected officials.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar, as well as links to additional materials.
