The 2017 Academy Town Square series of the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University presents a talk and discussion on freshwater issues on Thursday, May 18 at 6:30 p.m.

Sandra Postel is a world-renowned authority on issues surrounding the preservation and sustainable use of freshwater. Postel is a freshwater fellow at National Geographic and is the co-creator of Change the Course, which is a national freshwater conservation and restoration campaign. Sandra is a Pew Scholar in Conservation and the Environment, and has been named one of the Scientific American 50, an award recognizing contributions to science and technology.

This is event is free of charge, but registration is required. Doors open at 6p.m. and the talk begins at 6:30 p.m
