The Gallery Space has been created to exhibit works of art that inspire appreciation, awareness and stewardship of water and the natural environment. Our upcoming exhibit, “H2O” invites you to consider the fascinating scientific properties of water from a creative point of view. In its liquid form, we are mesmerized by the varying color, texture and reflective qualities found in lakes, rivers, oceans, geysers, tide pools and even puddles. Snow and ice allow us to experience water as a solid representing a multitude of textures and fog offers us the ethereal expression of water as a vapor.
This exhibit will run from September 29th to November 9th. An opening reception will be held on September 29, 2016 from 5-7pm in the Garden Club of Princeton Gallery at the Watershed Center. Local artists will be in attendance with works available for sale benefiting the Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed Association.
