Christina River Projects Bus Tour, Landenberg, PA

Join Brandywine Red Clay Alliance for their annual bus tour to see best practices and watershed projects in New Castle County, Delaware and Chester County, Pennsylvania. Meet at New Garden Township Park, 8938 Gap Newport Pike, Landenberg, PA.

Our itinerary will include:

  • Auburn Valley State Park, Yorklyn, Delaware, remediation of NVF site, wetlands construction and stream restoration

  • Hillendale Elementary, Kennett Township, tree planting and naturalized detention basins

  • West Chester Borough, stormwater fee funded stormwater projects

  • Embreeville Wetland Mitigation Site, Chester County Water Resources Authority, Aqua PA and Natural Lands.

  • Lunch at Myrick Center, Brandywine Red Clay Alliance.

How:  Registration is required in advance and is limited to seats on the bus, so register early by sending an email to Betsy Stefferud at bstefferud@brandywineredclay.org or me at the address on this message.

There is a $10 fee for a box lunch payable in advance or by check or cash at the event.

Thanks to sponsors, University of Delaware Water Resources Center, DNREC, Chester County Conservation District there is no fee for the bus tour.
