Muhlenberg Township is hosting, for the first year, River Fest – Muhlenberg’s Food and Music Festival. 

This event will be located in Jim Dietrich Park along a trail that follows a bend in the Schuylkill River. There will be three music stages; one electric, one acoustic and an open mic stage highlighting local musical talent with the river as its backdrop.

In total there will be 33+ acts scheduled over the two days performing Acapella, Blues, Modern Pop, Bluegrass music, Classic Rock and so much more.  A variety of food vendors will be available to dazzle your taste buds.  Some vendors include Scott’s Hot Spot, Monte Lauro European Gourmet, Penn Werner Hotel, Lotus Korean BBQ, MAD Sandwiches, It’s Just Barbecue, and Albrejie Mexican to name a few. 

There will also be wine and beer available at the event.  River Fest will be filling the air with music and the aroma of fine tasting food. Crafters, home based businesses, a horseshoe contest, Alley Racers, Pinewood Derby racing and other fun activities will also be available.
